Bertha Park, Perth

Perth and Kinross Local Plan identified land to the north of the city as a key area for expansion. Springfield are in the process of drawing up proposals for an area known as Bertha Park.

Background

Bertha Park will be a countryside community with 3000 homes, supporting infrastructure, facilities and amenities. Careful master planning will ensure that homes are close to green space. By 2019 Perth and Kinross Council will deliver a new secondary school at Bertha Park with a primary school to follow. There will be local shopping, hospitality, leisure and opportunities for other businesses. The development is surrounding by a rolling landscape and features a loch. Paths, cycle routes and public transport mean easy access to Perth.

Homes at Bertha Park will be designed to be highly energy efficient, comfortable to live in, inexpensive to run and enhance the environment. Every Springfield home is built to suit the individual customer; at Bertha Park there will be something for everyone, whatever age or stage.

We hope to begin building in 2017.
