Appointed Managing Director in February 2010 Sandy trained as an architect and has forty years experience in the construction industry most notably as Regional Chairman of Bett Homes. Sandy was awarded the OBE in 2004 for services to the Construction Industry in Scotland.

Joining the company and the board in 2005 Innes graduated from Heriot Watt University before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. Moving into industry he joined RK Carbon Fibres as Financial Controller, on the sale of the company to SGL Carbon Group and he was appointed Finance Director for five years, subsequently becoming Finance Director at Gael Force before joining Springfield another five years later.

Joining the company in 2003 and the board in 2005 Bob graduated from Herriot Watt University having studied Civil Engineering. He gained experience on major road schemes both at home and abroad becoming a Director of Remac Construction in 1983 and of Leiths (Scotland) Ltd in 1999.

Joining Springfield as a Non Executive Director in 2008, Roger is well known and respected throughout the banking and property industries following a thirty year career with Bank of Scotland, latterly as Director of the North of Scotland Real Estate Team.

Matthew Benson
Non Executive Director
Appointed to the board in 2011 Matthew worked in international finance before establishing his own consultancy business which specialised in the structuring and planning of high quality residential and leisure projects. Now a director at Rettie & Co with responsibility for land and development, new homes and rural projects, he is particularly skilled in structuring deals and developed much of the thinking behind the Resonance funding model which Springfield have been using to deliver new homes in Edinburgh. Matthew has a number of other responsibilities including as Chairman of EctoPharma Ltd, Member of the Advisory Board of Kleinwort Benson Private Bank, Trustee of Project Scotland and Director of Edinburgh Arts Festival.
