Golf View, Macduff

Macduff is an attractive Aberdeenshire coastal town situated 44 miles northwest of Aberdeen, 37 miles east of Elgin and 18 miles west of Fraserburgh. The historical harbour area first created in 1783 is still in use today and the local shipyard constructs both steel and wooden vessels. Lying on the east bank of the mouth of the river Deveron Macduff shares numerous local facilities with it’s close neighbour on the west bank, Banff. These include primary schools, a secondary school, shops, library and swimming pool. Two high quality golf courses, sea angling, sealife cruises, an excellent sealife centre and aquarium, and historic Duff House are just some of the attractions that Macduff has to offer.
