Thank you for visiting this online exhibition for our residential development proposals for Aberlour.

A Proposal of Application Notice for this site was submitted to the Council on 25th February 2022(ref 22/00287/PAN).

Springfield Properties PLC aim to submit an application for planning permission for this development in the next few months.

Aberlour, Background

As part of the pre-application process, Springfield Properties PLC is required to carry out public consultation. Ordinarily, this would take the form of a public exhibition, normally in a community hall however in line with current government restrictions regarding the Covid-19 Coronavirus crisis, it is necessary for this consultation event to be conducted online via the internet. A Report will accompany the planning application detailing received feedback and moves taken to address it.

We aim to submit a planning application in the coming. months after this online consultation event.

We value your input as we formulate the final content of the planning application. Springfield Properties PLC is required to assess and report back to Moray Council our findings. To assist us in doing this we would appreciate you taking some time to record your comments on the online form.

What to expect: 

  • The presentation will be hosted through zoom and the link to access the event will be published on this website by 3.30pm on 28th April.  
  • When you join the call you will be held in a virtual waiting room and a host will admit entry when the session is ready to start.  
  • You will notice that when you join the call you will be automatically placed on mute and we ask that you keep your cameras switched off. 
  • If you’d like to ask a question, you can use the ‘raise your hand’ tool which can be found in the reactions tab on your screen. You will be taken off mute to ask your question – please feel free to turn your camera on at this time. Once you have asked your question you will be placed back on mute and please turn your camera off again. 
  • Alternatively you can type your question using the chat function located at the bottom right hand side of your screen.
  • Please note that throughout this consultation strong or abusive language or behaviour will not be tolerated. If this happens one warning will be given, if it occurs again you will be removed from the call and will be unable to re-join.

A report on this event will be included with the application. for Planning permission with feedback noted and where applicable responded to and any changes arising made clearly shown.

It should be noted that any comments made during this consultation do not constitute representations to the Council about the proposal. There will be a separate opportunity for making any representations as part of the statutory planning application process once the planning application is lodged. It should also be noted that the plans and drawings on display may be subject to change between the exhibition and the submission of the planning application.
