The 25 three and four bedroom homes set in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park impressed the judges on their visit to the site in April where they met with Managing Director Innes Smith, Site Manager Shaun Douglas and Sales Executive Gill Evans.

Located close to Glenshee Ski Resort, the homes at Middleton of Canmore have a classic Scottish feel with slate roofs, traditional dormers and timber porches to the front in grey, green or natural larch.

Springfield’s planners and architects worked closely with Aberdeenshire Council and the Caingorms National Park Authority to identify the perfect style and mix of homes to suit the conservation area and remain in keeping with Braemar tradition.

North Sales Manager, Joyce Napier recognised the effort involved:

“Braemar undoubtedly presented us with a positive challenge. Designing homes for a National Park and a gorgeous setting.

“For the rest of the house building industry to recognise the amount of work that has gone into Middleton of Canmore, and announce it as the small development of the year is fantastic. It reinforces that putting in the extra effort for our customers is the right way to go.”

The results were announced at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre Friday 20th May with actor and comedian Hugh Dennis presenting the awards.
