Kinloch Gardens in Blairgowrie and Rattray is a prime location for enjoying the Scottish Highlands. The Cateran Trail, a 64 mile walk that takes in Glenericht, Bridge of Cally, Enochdhu, Ben Earb, Glenshee, Glenisla and more, both starts and finished here. Glenshee itself, one of Scotland best skiing locations, is just 18 miles along the road.

More modest outdoor activities include great walks along the banks of the River Ericht where you can find picnic areas and rock pools (if you fancy dipping a toe). The river is also a popular fishing spot where you can catch salmon, sea trout, brown trout and grayling. Permits are available locally.

Rattray Primary School is a few minutes walk from the development and Blairgowrie High School is less than 2 miles away.
