Lhanbryde is a small village that lies 4 miles east of Elgin. The development is situated just off the A96 on St Andrew’s road and will offer a great range of new build homes and apartments. With easy transport links to Elgin and Aberdeen, Lhandryde is ideal for those who want the perks of living close to a city, whilst enjoying the countryside.
The centre of the village is within walking distance of the development and has a local butcher, pharmacy, post office and grocery store. There is also a local bowling club nearby.
For keen gardeners, Threaplands garden centre is located just 5 minutes away in the car and offers a range of flowers, plants and items for the garden, as well as a café if you fancy a spot of lunch.
If you enjoy nice walks, the Moray Coastal trail can be accessed from the village and can take you to Loch Na Bo – a picturesque man-made loch located to the south of Lhanbryde.
For traveling further afield, you can head west to Elgin via the A96 (around 15 minutes) where you will find plenty of local restaurants, cafes and bars as well as a retail park with a few shops to choose from. In the opposite direction, you can travel to Aberdeen which is around 90 minutes in the car.
The scenic coastal town of Lossiemouth is also a short drive in the car and offers fresh seafood and ice cream parlours, with the choice of two beaches to walk along – Lossiemouth east beach and west beach.
Lhanbryde Primary School is located on the other side of the village and is a short walk from the development. Pupils from the primary school either go to Milne’s High School in Fochabers, or one of the two high schools in Elgin - Elgin Academy or Elgin High School – all of which are commutable by car or bus.
