If you enjoy the great outdoors, then you’re in luck as there are multiple noteworthy walking and cycling routes for you to choose from. The longest route is the Great Glen way which is a huge 79-mile trail stretching from Inverness down to Fort William. For something shorter, there’s a walk to the old hilltop site of Craigmore and the Divach falls or a circular route exploring the Urquhart Bay woods.
For a family day out, you can visit Nessieland. Explore the caves and find out more about the mystery of the famous monster or take a cruise on the Loch Ness. There’s also a coffee shop and adventure playground for the kids to enjoy.
