Positive signs at Bertha Park
The first road signs for Bertha Park - a new village being built by Springfield Properties on the outskirts of Perth - have been placed along the Cross Tay Link Road, in a symbolic milestone for the development.
Erected by Perth & Kinross Council to direct people to the village, the signage is one of the first steps to putting Bertha Park on the map as a new place ahead of the first customers moving into their new homes.
In addition to one, two, three and four-bedroom homes, Bertha Park will include the core staples of a traditional village. A new school is being built at Bertha Park as well as offices, shops, cafes and a medical centre. A number of play parks will be installed as the village develops and there will be plenty of open spaces for the Bertha Park community to enjoy.
Innes Smith, Chief Executive of Springfield Properties; “The first Bertha Park road sign is another milestone in the development of the new village and one of the first to recognising Bertha Park as a standalone place.
“Over the last few months, Bertha Park has started to take shape. Now as you drive along the Cross Tay Link Road to the roundabout, you’re greeted with a view of the first Springfield homes with the new school to your left. It’s remarkable to see the new village grow and to see the Bertha Park vision become a reality.”
