Perth and Dundee charities up for nomination as Springfield Properties
3rd November 2026
Springfield Properties is calling on residents at its longstanding Village developments, Bertha Park in Perth and Dykes of Gray in Dundee to nominate local charities to each receive a £500 Christmas donation, as the Springfield Group’s Christmas Cheer campaign returns for a third year.
Nominations open on Monday 2nd November and residents at both Springfield’s village developments can put forward the charities that matter most to them using an online form. The form will be sent to their inbox and can be accessed by scanning the QR codes on signs around the development or via links on social media.
Last year’s campaign drew more than 35 nominations and led to £3,500 in donations to Scottish charities, with donations going to charities such as Moray Women’s Aid and Highlands and Islands Blood Bikes, whose volunteers transport lifesaving medical supplies for NHS Highland 365 days a year.
In 2025, the Bertha Park community selected Mindspace, a mental health and wellbeing charity, and The Salvation Army, which works to tackle homelessness and poverty, to each receive a £500 donation. In Dundee, nominations focused on tackling child poverty in the local community, with Help for Kids and Togs for Tots each receiving £500 in recognition of their work.
Colin Blair, Managing Director (Central), at Springfield Properties, said:
“Bertha Park and Dykes of Gray are growing communities, and last year’s nominations showed how much residents care about supporting the charities that do so much in their area. From mental health services in Perth to charities supporting families and children facing hardship in Dundee, residents highlighted causes making a real difference on their doorstep.
“Christmas is a time for giving, and we want our donations to support the charities that matter most to our communities in Perth and Dundee. Our residents know the difference these organisations make locally, and we’re looking forward to hearing which causes they’d like us to support this year.”
