94 new homes approved in Banff
Housebuilder Springfield Properties have been given planning consent for 94 new homes in Banff.
Aberdeen Council have approved plans for new private and affordable homes, just off Golden Knowes Road, to the edge of the town.
The development includes 2,3 and 4 bedroom homes and 2 bedroom cottage flats. The design is spacious, with ample green space and a play park for children. The new homes will be well connected to the wider town with footpaths and cycle routes planned throughout the site.
Springfield Properties’ North Sales Manager, Joyce Hadden has said:
“Now our designs have been given the green light, we will be aiming to go on sale later this year.
“We’re really pleased to be able to offer our high quality and energy efficient homes to the people of Banff. 27 of the homes on the site will be for general sale. These homes will qualify for Help to Buy making them ideal for first time buyers. They’d even suit growing families wanting to move up the ladder and those looking to downsize.
“The remaining 67 of the homes approved for the development will be affordable and we are working with a local housing association to deliver these.”
